ADFC hosts mountain bike tours in Reutte, Austria and Odenwald, Germany

Eight ADFC cyclists rode a mountain‑bike tour in the nature park near Reutte, Austria. The route circled the Urisee, passed the Hühner‑Schaugarten of Lebenshilfe Tirol where rare chicken breeds are kept, climbed to the Klause Ehrenberg and then to Festung Schlosskopf, offering panoramic views of the Reuttener Lechtal before returning via Heiterwang, the Heiterwanger See and the Kleiner Plansee.

The ADFC Wiesloch/Walldorf group organized a women’s 52‑km mountain‑bike tour through the Odenwald valleys in Germany on 9 August 2026. Riders met at Wiesloch‑Walldorf station, travelled by S3 to Heidelberg and Mosbach, tackled about 530 m of elevation, and followed the Elz, Seebach and Neckar valleys past villages such as Neckarburken, Dallau, Rittersbach, Limbach, Krumbach and Robbern. A lakeside picnic was planned, and participants registered through contact Carol Streeter.
