Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury criticizes NCERT history textbook content

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has raised concerns regarding the content of NCERT Class 9 history textbooks, specifically concerning the portrayal of Mughal rule and the struggles of Sikh Gurus. Speaking in Murshidabad, Chowdhury alleged that history is being distorted to suit specific ideologies, which could mislead future generations. He emphasized that historical facts must be preserved and that textbooks should rely on authentic historical sources to maintain the integrity of a nation's identity.

Additionally, Chowdhury addressed the I.N.D.I.A. alliance and electoral concerns. He noted that Rahul Gandhi has consistently raised issues regarding the electoral process and voter rights in Parliament, on the streets, and in courts. Chowdhury called for opposition parties to work together to protect democratic processes and address allegations of vote theft.
