Adhiraj Chauhan recognized for AI-driven social impact
Adhiraj Chauhan, a student at Amity International School, is utilizing artificial intelligence to address challenges in mental healthcare, behavioral technology, and environmental innovation. His work aims to bridge critical gaps in medical accessibility, specifically noting that India has approximately 0.75 psychiatrists per 100,000 people, significantly below the World Health Organization's recommendation of three per 100,000.
Chauhan has received several honors, including Startup India (DPIIT) recognition for his AI venture and India’s Young-Preneur Award. He was also recognized for the Most Innovative Solution at the Harvard Sustainability Impact Summit and received a Best Research Paper distinction at the Oxford Global Academic Summit.
As one of only two students selected by NITI Aayog to speak at the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, Chauhan presented his startup to representatives from major technology firms, including Google, Microsoft, Meta, and OpenAI. His initiatives have earned commendation from Deepak Bagla, Mission Director of the Atal Innovation Mission under NITI Aayog.
