ADI Design Index 2026 launches in Milan
The ADI Design Index 2026 has been officially presented at the ADI Design Museum in Milan, marking the start of a biennial cycle leading to the XXX Compasso d’Oro awards in 2028. The index features 340 selected projects categorized into 14 themes, including design for living, social design, and communication design. The selection highlights contemporary Italian design, emphasizing the increasing integration of multidisciplinary skills and services alongside physical products.
Among the selected projects is the Pages bookshelf by Potocco, designed by Studio Omi Tahara. Inspired by the movement of turning book pages, the piece features asymmetrical solid wood supports and shelves available in ash or bronze-mirrored glass. The inclusion in the index recognizes the company’s ability to combine artisanal craftsmanship with high-quality materials and sculptural design.
