ADID Timiș issues recycling guide for school season waste

ADID Timiș has released a recycling guide to assist families with the increase in waste, such as cardboard boxes and packaging, during the back-to-school season. The guide emphasizes simplicity in waste sorting within Timiș County.

Under the current system, paper, cardboard, plastic, and metal can all be placed together in yellow bags or containers, as fine sorting is handled automatically at specialized stations. Glass packaging should be placed in green bins, while black bins are reserved for non-recyclable residual waste.

Additionally, a pilot project for biodegradable waste is currently underway in nine markets in Timișoara, serving as a precursor to the county-wide introduction of brown bins for organic materials like fruit and vegetable scraps.
