adidas and MLS launch 2026 Archive Collection

adidas and Major League Soccer (MLS) have launched the third installment of the adidas x MLS Archive Collection. This limited-edition series features retro-inspired third kits and matching jackets for eight specific clubs.

The participating teams include Austin FC, CF Montreal, Chicago Fire FC, Houston Dynamo FC, Orlando City SC, Philadelphia Union, Real Salt Lake, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC. The collection aims to celebrate the unique identities and histories of these soccer cities by blending vintage aesthetics with modern performance technology.

Specific designs include Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s royal blue kit featuring a 1990s-style polo collar and a colorful graphic instead of a traditional sponsor. Austin FC’s kit utilizes a violet palette inspired by the city’s sunset, while CF Montreal’s design draws from the club’s 1993 professional debut. Other kits honor historical milestones, such as Houston Dynamo FC’s tribute to the Astrodome and Orlando City SC’s nod to 1980s branding.
