Adidas and Patrick Mahomes expand ‘Gladiator’ high school uniform program
Adidas and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes have expanded the ‘Gladiator’ signature uniform program to 13 additional high school football programs. This expansion brings the total number of elite programs featuring the all-white uniforms to 28.
The uniforms are inspired by Texas Tech’s ‘Too Cold’ design, which reflects Mahomes’ signature on-field playing style. The initiative aims to honor the role of high school football in developing player resilience and effort, a mindset Mahomes associates with his alma mater, Whitehouse High School in Texas.
The new cohort of schools includes several top-ranked programs, such as Bergen Catholic in New Jersey, Chandler in Arizona, and Christopher Columbus in Florida. Other participating schools include Corona Centennial in California, Gainesville in Georgia, and Baylor School in Tennessee.
