Adidas appoints Hasan Minhaj as Anthony Edwards insider

Comedian Hasan Minhaj has joined Adidas Basketball as the official insider for NBA star Anthony Edwards for the 2026-27 season. The role is part of the ‘MINNATLANTASOTA’ campaign, launched in conjunction with the Anthony Edwards 3 sneaker release.

Minhaj will provide coverage on Edwards’ performances, sneaker releases, and league developments by receiving information directly from the Timberwolves player. His content, which includes writing, filming, and editing, will be released on the social media accounts of both Edwards and Adidas Basketball starting October 25, 2026.

In his debut video, Minhaj addressed recent comments from Drake regarding sneaker demand in Minnesota, as well as remarks from LeBron James concerning Adidas products. The campaign continues to utilize a comedic tone to engage fans throughout the NBA season.
