Adidas releases David Beckham Predator boots to mark 25th anniversary of iconic goal

Adidas has launched two new special-edition Predator football boots to commemorate the 25th anniversary of David Beckham’s iconic free kick against Greece. That goal, scored in the 93rd minute on October 6, 2001, secured England’s qualification for the 2002 FIFA World Cup.

The release includes the David Beckham Predator, a modern version featuring a white base with red detailing and the Adidas Trefoil logo, and the Predator Precision Remade, which serves as a faithful reissue of the original model worn during the match. The designs incorporate historical references, such as Beckham’s number 7 and the ‘90+3’ minute mark.

Developed in collaboration with Beckham, the new boots utilize the Predator Elite FT L-Tech concept and premium Fusionskin leather. The design specifically draws from the white and red color palette associated with the historic match.
