Adidas releases dessert-inspired retro sneaker collections

Adidas is expanding its retro footwear lineup with new colorways and textures inspired by desserts. The latest Samba OG release features a palette of ‘Dusky Bronze’, ‘Aurora Coffee’, and ‘Gum’, utilizing velvety nubuck leather and dark brown tones to mimic the appearance of a tiramisu.

Additionally, the brand is updating the Italia 60s model with a deep brown, truffle-like leather texture. This dessert-themed approach follows previous food-inspired releases, such as a cannoli-themed collaboration with Asphalt and the Clot x Adidas Superstar ‘Coffee’. These releases focus on using seasonal colors and tactile finishes to refresh heritage silhouettes rather than introducing technical performance updates.
