Adidas secures long-term sponsorship deal with Santos FC

Adidas has secured a long-term partnership with the Brazilian football club Santos FC, with the contract set to begin in 2028 and run through 2033. This marks a return to the partnership for the German sportswear company, which previously supplied the club between 1980–1981 and 1984–1988.

Under the terms of the agreement, Adidas will pay approximately R$ 37.5 million per season, a deal that could exceed R$ 250 million over its duration. The partnership aims to significantly expand the club's commercial reach, with plans to distribute merchandise through up to 5,000 retailers, a substantial increase from the current arrangement with Umbro.

Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden expressed pride in the agreement, noting the company's history with the club and the work of the local Brazilian team in securing the deal.
