Adidas to release hybrid Handball Spezial loafers in 2026

Adidas is expanding its Handball Spezial line with new loafer versions scheduled for release in autumn 2026. These hybrid models aim to blur the lines between traditional dress shoes and classic sneakers by removing laces and adopting a slipper silhouette.

The new iterations will feature classic colorways in black and dark brown with green accents. The design utilizes a material mix of grained leather uppers and suede stripes, complemented by a metal detail with a clover logo. Despite the more elegant upper, the shoes retain their sporty heritage through the signature flat rubber sole characteristic of the original 1979 handball shoe.
