adidas unveils Agravic Speed Ultra Evo trail racing shoe

adidas has announced the Agravic Speed Ultra Evo, a high-performance trail racing shoe developed under its adidas TERREX outdoor brand. The footwear incorporates technology derived from the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 3, a model associated with record-breaking marathon performances.

The new shoe features Dual ENERGYRIM technology, designed to improve stability and adaptability on uneven terrain while providing a 10% increase in energy return compared to its predecessor. It utilizes a LIGHTSTRIKE PRO midsole and an engineered woven upper to balance propulsion, durability, and protection from debris. The model weighs approximately 250g, representing a 5% weight reduction over the Agravic Speed Ultra 2.

Adidas plans to debut the shoe at a major global trail race in Chamonix, France, in August 2026. The launch marks the company's strategic push into the competitive trail running market, which has seen significant growth and competition from brands like HOKA and Salomon.
