adidas unveils Pokémon 30th‑anniversary sneaker collection

adidas Originals and the Pokémon franchise have partnered on a sneaker line to mark Pokémon’s 30th anniversary. The collaboration features more than a dozen models, including the Superstar, Pro Model, Adistar XLG 2.0, Spezial, Samba and ZX 8000, each styled after iconic Pokémon such as Charizard, Pikachu, Gengar, Haunter, Mewtwo, Rayquaza and others. Design details include character‑specific artwork on tongue tags, custom insoles, and themed lace dubraes, with some shoes adding unique elements like removable leather wings on the Charizard Superstar. The collection is scheduled to launch in Fall 2026, with an initial release expected in September at select retailers.
