Adil Bourabaa expected to miss football until 2027 after surgery

Le Mans FC midfielder Adil Bourabaa has undergone successful surgery on his left ankle following an injury sustained during his debut for the Algerian national team. The injury occurred on October 6 during a match against Niger.

While the club did not provide a specific return date in its official statement, reports indicate that the player is not expected to return to competitive play before 2027. This long-term absence follows a strong start to the season in which Bourabaa recorded three goals and two assists in five matches.

Le Mans FC coach Patrick Videira described Bourabaa as a vital player who is “capable of making differences individually” within the team's system. Videira noted that the club must now find internal solutions to compensate for the loss of the midfielder.
