Adina Buzatu shares garment care and hair maintenance advice
Fashion designer Adina Buzatu has shared professional recommendations regarding clothing maintenance and personal grooming.
Regarding garment care, Buzatu advises against using washing machines for items with internal structures, such as classic suits and jackets, as they may lose their shape. She also recommends against machine washing leather sneakers, wool coats with linings, and natural silk ties. For items labeled ‘dry clean only,’ she emphasizes following those instructions strictly, even when using delicate machine cycles. She suggests using steam to refresh and sterilize certain garments instead of full washing.
In terms of hair care, the designer shared a natural mask recipe she has used for over 30 years to maintain healthy, shiny hair. The mixture consists of egg yolks, castor oil, coconut oil, or jojoba oil. She noted that adding a small amount of rum helps the mask penetrate the hair more effectively and mitigates the scent of the egg.
