Aditya Sahu calls for CBI probe and dismissal of JPSSC members over exam scandal

Jharkhand BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu demanded that the three sitting members of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSSC) be immediately removed, that a First Information Report be filed against them and that they be arrested. He also urged that the Central Bureau of Investigation take over the probe into alleged irregularities in the JPSSC recruitment exam.

Sahu said the former JPSSC chairman L. Khayngte had resigned after the irregularities were exposed, but the three members remained in office, preventing a fair investigation. He accused the state government of shielding the recruitment process and called for CBI investigations into all alleged recruitment scams in the state over the past six years, including JPSSC, JSSC and product‑soldier recruitments. The BJP has staged protests in Parliament and plans a one‑hour silent fast to press the issue.
