Adivi Sesh spy thriller G2 set for February 2027 release

The makers of the spy thriller G2, a sequel to the hit film Goodachari, have announced a release date of February 5, 2027. Directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi in his directorial debut, the film is being produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, Abhishek Agarwal, and Anil Sunkara under the banners of People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments.

Adivi Sesh returns as the lead spy, joined by Wamiqa Gabbi, who portrays Agent 116. Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi will play a key role as a parallel lead. The cast also includes Supriya Yarlagadda, Murali Sharma, and Madhu Shalini. The production aims for an international scale with high-octane action sequences intended to offer a fresh take on the spy genre in Indian cinema. The film is set for a pan-India release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
