Singer ADÉLA has publicly criticized fans for tearing down promotional posters for artist Rachel Chinouriri in London. The incidents, captured in videos circulating on social media, involved fans removing Chinouriri’s advertisements to reveal ADÉLA’s own promotional materials underneath.

ADÉLA addressed the controversy on Instagram, stating that the behavior was unacceptable and noting that promotion requires significant financial investment. She emphasized the difficulty of gaining visibility in the industry, particularly for Black women.

Chinouriri previously expressed her disappointment on X, noting that the destroyed posters represented ten years of professional effort and significant personal expense. She highlighted the challenges Black artists face in securing pop music exposure.
