Adéla Jergová achieves international music success

Slovak singer Adéla Jergová, known professionally as ADÉLA, is gaining international recognition following her participation in the project ‘The Debut: Dream Academy’, which led to the formation of the K-pop group KATSEYE. Although she exited the competition early, she has since established a solo career abroad under Capitol Records.

Her achievements include performing on a North American tour as an opening act for Demi Lovato, appearing at the Lollapalooza festival, and placing a track on the Billboard Hot 100. Jergová released her debut album, ‘PRIMA’, in September 2026 and has embarked on her own tour.

Her rapid international ascent has sparked discussion in Slovakia. Singer Nela Pocisková recently reflected on her own career, noting that she had previously been advised by opera legend Peter Dvorský to pursue opportunities abroad. The comparison between Pocisková’s domestic career and Jergová’s global success has drawn reactions from various public figures, including actor Milan Ondrík, who commented on the challenges successful individuals often face within their home environments.
