Adler hockey clubs prepare rosters for 2026/27 season

The Austrian club Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel completed its squad for the 2026/27 season by signing Swedish centre Jacob Grönhagen. The 25‑year‑old, who has played in Sweden’s SHL, HockeyAllsvenskan and HockeyEttan, joins a group of five import players and is expected to add offensive power alongside fellow Swede Stahlberg.

In Germany, DEL side Adler Mannheim began its preseason training in unusually hot conditions, with temperatures above 30 °C. The club emphasized careful load management to mitigate injury risk while integrating new international signings. The preparation aims to stabilise performance for upcoming test matches and early European competition.
