Adler Mannheim emerges as DEL title favorite in coach survey
A survey of Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) coaches suggests a shift in dominance for the upcoming season. Following the departure of championship-winning coach Serge Aubin to SC Bern, the Eisbären Berlin are no longer the unanimous favorites.
According to a Deutsche Presse-Agentur poll, a majority of the 14 participating coaches identified Adler Mannheim as the top contender for the title. Coaches cited Mannheim's deep roster and strong positioning as key factors. While Eisbären Berlin remains a contender for many, only one coach, Craig Woodcroft of Straubing, named them as the sole favorite.
