Adélia Pinheiro calls for stronger legislative support for Lula

Adélia Pinheiro, a candidate for federal deputy from the Workers' Party (PT), has emphasized the necessity of strengthening the legislative base for President Lula to advance key social agendas. During an interview, Pinheiro argued that a larger coalition in the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate is essential to prevent the stalling of crucial proposals, specifically citing the debate over ending the 6x1 work schedule as an example of a policy that has faced delays due to insufficient political force in Congress.

In a separate mobilization in Ilhéus, Pinheiro participated in the opening of a local political committee supporting the reelection of President Lula and Governor Jerônimo Rodrigues. During the event, she highlighted state investments in the region, noting that the Bahia government has invested over R$ 2 billion in Ilhéus between 2007 and 2026, including infrastructure for hospitals, schools, and highways. The event served to unify allied parties in support of the current administration's political project.
