ADM expands feed logistics network in Scotland

ADM is expanding its Scottish operations by adding new storage and berthing capacity at the Port of Greenock. This deep-water facility, operated by Peel Ports Group, is intended to enhance ADM’s ability to import, store, and distribute key feed ingredients.

The expansion complements ADM’s existing operations at the King George V Dock in Glasgow. By utilizing both locations, the company aims to create a more integrated logistics network along the River Clyde, which is expected to increase handling capacity and improve supply chain flexibility for feed customers in the region.

This investment follows growing demand for imported feed materials in Scotland. The move is intended to support the long-term competitiveness of the Scottish agricultural sector by strengthening supply chain resilience and operational efficiency.
