ADM expands Scottish operations at Port of Greenock
ADM is expanding its Scottish operations by adding new storage and berthing capacity at the Port of Greenock. This expansion, at a facility owned by Peel Ports Group, builds upon ADM’s existing operations at the King George V Dock in Glasgow.
The move is intended to enhance ADM’s import, storage, and distribution capabilities, specifically strengthening access to key feed ingredients. By utilizing both locations, the company aims to create a more integrated logistics network on the River Clyde, which is expected to increase handling capacity and improve supply chain flexibility for feed customers throughout the region.
This investment responds to the evolving Scottish feed market and the increasing demand for imported feed materials, supporting the long-term competitiveness of the local agricultural sector.
