Vietnam announces various regional and institutional personnel appointments

Various administrative and personnel changes have been announced across several Vietnamese institutions and regions.

In Hue City, Chairman Le Tri Thanh announced several appointments following the merger of the Department of Culture and Sports with the Department of Tourism to form the new Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Le Minh Nhan has been appointed Director of this new department, while Tran Thi Hoai Tram has been moved to serve as Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, Van Anh Tuan from Da Nang has been appointed Deputy Chief of the Hue City People's Committee Office.

In Quang Tri province, personnel decisions were announced including the appointment of Pham Quang Long to the Provincial Party Standing Committee. The province is also piloting the establishment of a Party Committee for the Provincial People's Council.

At the national level, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences appointed Dinh Thi Mai as Vice President. Meanwhile, Vinachem announced several new leadership roles within its member companies, including the appointment of Nguyen Viet Hien as General Director of Apatit Vietnam and Nguyen Dinh Khoat as General Director of Ninh Binh Fertilizer Company.

Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, also implemented leadership changes, appointing Duong Ton Thai Duong as Deputy Director and acting Director of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation.
