Admir Arnautović and Adnan Maglić indicted for organized crime
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has confirmed an indictment against music manager Admir Arnautović, known as ‘Shmrk’, and Adnan Maglić, known as ‘Magla’, for organized crime. The duo is accused of leading a criminal group that operated between December 2019 and late 2022 across Bosnia and Herzegovina, European Union countries, and other regions.
The charges include the international trafficking of at least 5.5 kilograms of cocaine, 10 kilograms of hashish, and at least six firearms. The group allegedly used the encrypted ‘Sky’ application to coordinate smuggling operations. Furthermore, the defendants are accused of using physical violence and extortion to secure their positions of power and pressure individuals into paying for protection services.
Authorities state the group generated at least 438,105 KM in illicit profit. To launder the proceeds, the group reportedly invested in real estate, residential construction, and motor vehicles. The investigation, part of the ‘Catering’ police operation, involved multiple locations in the Sarajevo and Central Bosnia Cantons in coordination with intelligence and security agencies.
