ADMO celebrates 30 years of bone marrow donation advocacy
The Bone Marrow Donor Association (ADMO) is celebrating its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of promoting bone marrow and hematopoietic stem cell donation. Since its inception in 1996, the organization has focused on raising awareness and providing support for patients suffering from leukemia and other blood diseases.
Through the work of volunteers, medical professionals, and donors, ADMO has facilitated life-saving opportunities for thousands of patients by helping to bridge genetic compatibility gaps. The association continues to engage the community through educational initiatives in schools and public spaces to dispel myths regarding the donation process and encourage younger generations to join the Italian Bone Marrow Donor Registry (IBMDR).
