Adnan Menderes Democracy Museum closes for renovation

The Adnan Menderes Democracy Museum in the Koçarlı district of Aydın has been temporarily closed for renovation and display arrangement work. This closure follows a previous period of maintenance that lasted approximately eight months, during which the museum was closed from July 2025 until its reopening on March 18, 2026.

According to a notice approved by Deputy Minister Gökhan Yazgı, the current renovation process began with the handover of the site on July 23, 2026. The works are scheduled to be completed by February 7, 2027. During this period, the museum will remain closed to visitors, and existing artifacts will be moved to the Aydın Archaeology Museum.
