Adnan Menderes University Rector inspects Faculty of Agriculture

Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent, Rector of Adnan Menderes University, conducted an inspection of the Faculty of Agriculture to evaluate strategic steps aimed at increasing agricultural production and research capacity.

During the visit, Rector Kent examined various facilities, including animal production sites, food processing workshops, and modern agricultural technology applications. Key sites visited included the Goat Milking and Milk Processing Center, which was established with Scientific Research Project (BAP) support, as well as ice cream and cheese production facilities. The Rector also inspected a ‘Vertical Greenhouse’ to review R&D activities regarding soilless farming and controlled environment agriculture.

Following a consultative meeting regarding academic quality and future strategic projects, the university inaugurated the Landscape Planning and Spatial Research Laboratory, also supported by BAP, to enhance the faculty's research infrastructure and student education.
