Adnan Sami reacts to joke about his background on India’s Got Latent

Singer Adnan Sami has responded to a joke made about him during a recent episode of the YouTube show ‘India’s Got Latent’. During the episode, actor Ayushmann Khurrana was discussing his upcoming patriotic comedy, ‘Udta Teer’, which features a character playing a Pakistani spy who forgets his origins. Comedian Aditya Kulshreshth, known as Kullu, jokingly compared the character to Adnan Sami.

Sami reacted to the viral clip on social media with a cheeky comment, suggesting that rights should be obtained from him before such a film is made. The singer, who was previously a Pakistani citizen, officially became an Indian citizen through naturalization on January 1, 2016.

In separate social media interactions, Sami also addressed frequently searched questions regarding his life, including his dramatic weight loss journey and his long-settled citizenship status.
