Italy implements various youth welfare and mental health initiatives

Various regional initiatives in Italy are addressing youth welfare, mental health, and digital safety. In Giffoni, an event organized with ASL Salerno brought together 200 students to discuss mental health through cinema and institutional dialogue, emphasizing the importance of listening and community support.

In Teramo, the Postal Police conducted a campaign titled ‘Una vita da social – Action Week’ for 600 students to prevent cyberbullying, sextortion, and digital violence. Meanwhile, in Rome, students from the RO-MENS project won an award for creating an audiovisual work focused on social inclusion and mental health awareness.

Other local efforts include the transformation of the Movicentro in Bra into a cultural hub for young people, a dialogue between the mayors of Ascoli Piceno and Parma regarding youth opportunities, and a drawing workshop in San Benedetto. Additionally, Unobravo and Treccani are collaborating to promote emotional literacy in schools.
