ADO Den Haag signs defender Jonas Jensen-Abbew

ADO Den Haag has reached an agreement with AGF Aarhus to sign 24-year-old central defender Jonas Jensen-Abbew. The right-footed player has signed a contract that ties him to the club until mid-2030.

Jensen-Abbew developed through the FC Nordsjælland youth academy and has experience playing for HB Køge and AGF Aarhus. During his time with AGF, he participated in the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds. He has also represented Denmark at the U-21 national level.

Technical Director Mark Wotte noted that Jensen-Abbew was identified through the club's scouting network and offers versatility, as he can also play in the full-back position. However, the defender is currently recovering from an injury and will not be immediately available for selection by coach Robin Peter. ADO Den Haag is reportedly still looking to strengthen other areas of the squad, including midfield and wing positions, before the transfer window closes.
