ADO launches 2026 Air 20 Ultra e‑bike with 50 Nm torque
ADO unveiled the 2026 model of its Air 20 Ultra fold‑able electric assist bicycle in Japan. The flagship e‑bike adds a world‑first three‑stage automatic shifting system and a carbon‑belt drive that eliminates chain maintenance. Motor torque rises from 40 Nm to 50 Nm, a roughly 25 % increase, improving hill‑climbing and load‑carrying performance.
The bike’s waterproof rating is upgraded to IPX6, and it can be powered on in about 1.7 seconds via an NFC card. A quick‑release system lets accessories such as a front basket be attached or removed without tools. Integrated front and rear lights are concealed within the frame. Weighing 22 kg (including rear carrier and fender) and offering up to 100 km range on a 37 V/10 Ah lithium‑ion battery, the Air 20 Ultra is available in gray or gradient blue and links with the ADO Smart APP for ride data, status checks and firmware updates.
