Adobe acquires Indian AI marketing startup Rilo

Adobe has acquired Rilo, an India-based AI marketing intelligence startup, through a deal involving technology licensing and the acquisition of its six-person team. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2025 by IIT alumni Dhruv Jaglan and Georgi Boby, Rilo developed agentic AI tools designed to help marketing and go-to-market teams automate complex workflows. These capabilities include competitor intelligence, content repurposing, sales call analysis, and social media outreach. The platform had reportedly reached approximately 10,000 users prior to the acquisition.

Following the consolidation, Rilo will shut down its independent operations, and its existing customers will no longer have access to the platform. Adobe intends to integrate Rilo’s intellectual property and technical team into its enterprise suite to enhance AI-driven automation for its customers. This marks Adobe’s second acquisition in India, following its 2023 purchase of the AI video platform Rephrase.ai.
