Adobe launches unified ChatGPT plugin with 70+ creative tools

Adobe announced a unified plugin for ChatGPT that bundles more than 70 tools from its Creative Cloud suite—including Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, Firefly, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Stock and others—into a single conversational interface. The plugin is available in ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work and Codex and lets users describe a task in natural language; the system then orchestrates the appropriate Adobe applications to edit images, resize videos, generate PDFs, apply batch styles, use templates and more. Full functionality requires an Adobe account and may need a paid subscription, while guest users can access a limited set of features. Adobe emphasized that the plugin is not meant to replace the full desktop applications for advanced editing. The launch took place on 6–7 August 2026 and is positioned as a way to streamline creative workflows and deepen Adobe’s AI integration across its ecosystem.
