Adobe partners with seven Indian states to provide free software to 7.8 million students

Adobe has entered into partnerships with seven Indian state governments—Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Assam, and Goa—to provide free access to Adobe Express for Education. This initiative aims to reach approximately 7.8 million students and teachers within government school networks, including PM SHRI, CM SHRI, and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan schools.

Through the Adobe Digital Academy, participants will receive curriculum focused on digital creativity, AI-assisted content creation, digital storytelling, and creative problem-solving. The program includes training for teachers to integrate these digital tools into classroom instruction.

The initiative is designed to align with India’s National Education Policy and supports the goal of creating two million jobs in the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC) sectors by 2030.
