ADOC Sardegna Congress addresses plastic reduction and food quality

The IX Regional Congress of ADOC Sardegna took place in Tortolì, focusing on critical consumption, the circular economy, and the reduction of plastic production and environmental dispersion. Participants discussed alternatives to single-use plastic packaging and the importance of consumer awareness in protecting the environment and public health.

Discussions also addressed the protection of food quality and protected designations of origin, specifically regarding Sardinian products. National ADOC President Anna Rea emphasized that consumer awareness is essential for maintaining freedom of choice amidst rapid technological innovation and the rise of artificial intelligence.
