Adolfina Escobar re-elected to lead AMMJE Playas de Rosarito

Adolfina Escobar has been ratified for a second term as president of the Asociación Mexicana de Mujeres Jefas de Empresa (AMMJE) in Playas de Rosarito for the 2026-2028 period. Her leadership agenda focuses on strengthening the participation of women entrepreneurs and establishing a binational regional agenda. Escobar aims to foster alliances with AMMJE branches in Tijuana, Tecate, and Ensenada, as well as organizations in southern San Diego, to leverage the strategic border location of Rosarito.

The inauguration ceremony included notable figures such as former U.S. Treasurer Rosario Marín and AMMJE National President Sonia Garza González. Escobar highlighted the need to address regional challenges, including security, infrastructure, and mobility, noting that women's talent can help overcome these obstacles. The plan also includes social assistance efforts to support women in vulnerable situations.
