Adolfo Bautista expresses interest in managing Chivas

Former Mexican footballer Adolfo ‘Bofo’ Bautista has publicly expressed his desire to become a manager for Chivas del Guadalajara. The former striker stated that he possesses the identity and commitment necessary to lead the historic Liga MX club, whether in the youth academy or with the first team.

In addition to his coaching ambitions, Bautista advocated for structural changes in Mexican football to support domestic talent. He suggested that Liga MX teams should reduce the number of foreign players, proposing a limit of three foreigners per squad to provide more opportunities for young Mexican players to develop.
