Adolfo Gonzales Chaves celebrates 110th anniversary
The district of Adolfo Gonzales Chaves is celebrating its 110th anniversary with a series of commemorative events and community gatherings.
During the central ceremony, Mayor Lucía Gómez delivered a speech emphasizing the district's history and the importance of local institutions, such as schools, clubs, and community centers, in building local identity. Gómez highlighted the collective effort of residents in Chaves, De la Garma, Juan E. Barra, and Vásquez, noting that recent municipal improvements in rural roads, public spaces, waste management, health, and education are results of community work and state management.
Festivities include a large anniversary 'peña' featuring local and regional artists, with music spanning the 80s and 90s. The scheduled program also includes protocol acts at Plaza 25 de Mayo, an entrepreneur fair, a civic parade, and various gastronomic offerings.
