Garibotti highlighted a recent health initiative involving the NGO Desarrollar and the Banco Provincia Foundation. An ophthalmological mobile unit visited De La Garma, Barra, Gonzales Chaves, and Vázquez, treating over 260 residents and distributing 330 pairs of glasses. The demand for the service exceeded expectations, with all slots filled within 24 hours, underscoring a structural lack of permanent ophthalmologists in the district.
