Adonis Georgiadis criticizes PASOK and former PM Tsipras

Greek Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis has engaged in multiple political confrontations, targeting both PASOK parliamentary representative Pavlos Christidis and former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

Georgiadis criticized Christidis for what he termed a ‘contemptibly apologetic’ response regarding his attendance at an Israel in Greece event at the Athenian Club. While Christidis clarified that his presence was brief and institutional, aimed at strengthening parliamentary ties without direct engagement with Israeli officials, Georgiadis defended the strategic importance of Greece-Israel relations and urged Christidis to stand firm against pressure from activist groups.

In a separate televised interview, Georgiadis launched personal attacks against Alexis Tsipras, accusing him of arrogance and describing him as a ‘great Napoleon in Julius Caesar packaging.’ He also addressed concerns regarding government fatigue, noting that the New Democracy party has been in power for eight years, which he identified as a significant challenge for the upcoming elections.
