Adonis Georgiadis criticizes Tsipras and Samaras

Greek Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis has issued sharp criticisms regarding recent political developments following Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s speech at the Thessaloniki International Fair (DTM).

Addressing comments made by Mitsotakis about opposition leader Alexis Tsipras, Georgiadis dismissed claims of a political rebranding for Tsipras, stating that the PASOK party remains a weak political force that fails to provide a viable alternative for governance.

Georgiadis also addressed the stance of former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. Commenting on Samaras’s recent criticisms of the government regarding issues such as corruption and the cost of living, Georgiadis questioned how Samaras could fail to acknowledge the positive aspects of the last eight years. He noted that if Samaras chooses to form a new political party, he would become a political opponent of New Democracy rather than an ally.
