Adonis Georgiadis inaugurates renovated Elassona Health Center

Greek Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis attended the inauguration of the fully renovated Elassona Health Center on Wednesday. The facility, which has undergone a complete structural and energy upgrade, has been renamed the ‘Georgios Gennimatas’ Health Center in memory of the former leader.

The renovation project, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Fund, had a total budget of 1,695,196 euros. The 1,481-square-meter facility includes a biochemical laboratory, a radiology department, and an advanced telemedicine system. It is expected to be bolstered by the addition of cardiologists and orthopedists, functioning more like a small hospital than a standard health center.

Following the ceremony in Elassona, Georgiadis visited the University Hospital of Larissa for an event marking the donation of an angiograph by Hellenic Energy.
