Adou Thiero reassures Lakers fans after preseason injury scare

Los Angeles Lakers wing Adou Thiero experienced a dramatic landing during a preseason game against the Golden State Warriors. While performing a high-flying dunk, Thiero’s landing resulted in an awkward position for his right leg, causing concern among fans.

Thiero, a highly athletic second-year player, addressed the incident following the game, stating, “It was awkward, but I’m fine coming out of it.” He acknowledged that while it is sometimes difficult to focus on landing mechanics during intense plays, improving his control is a priority.

Lakers head coach JJ Redick has expressed realistic expectations for Thiero and other young players as they adjust to full-time roles. Thiero finished the game with seven points and four rebounds in 17 minutes of play.
