ADRA to fund sports and entertainment festival for 300 children in Aden

A sports and entertainment festival, known as Telematch, is scheduled to launch in November in the Al-Basatin area of the Dar Sad district in Aden. The event will involve 300 male and female primary school students from grades one through six.

The festival is funded and sponsored by the ADRA organization, which aims to support the psychological well-being of children and mitigate the mental health impacts caused by difficult living and humanitarian conditions in the country. ADRA is providing all necessary sports equipment, field requirements, and prizes for all participants, as well as special awards for winners.

The Dar Sad District Office of Education, specifically its school activities department, has developed the technical and educational plan. This includes designing age-appropriate activities and ensuring a safe environment by separating activities for boys and girls. Implementation is being coordinated with local community initiatives, including the Creative Solutions initiative led by Shadi Shehab and the Change Makers initiative led by Ramadan Musa.
