Adra to host cultural and healthy lifestyle festivals
The municipality of Adra is hosting two distinct community events this August. On Saturday, August 22, the town will hold the ‘Noche en Vela’ cultural festival. Starting at 21:00, the event will feature live music, circus performances, dance, and workshops across various municipal spaces. Specific activities include a vintage photo booth at the Arco del Molino, storytelling and science workshops at the Torreón de Olvera, and children's entertainment such as a pirate party and fair games at Plaza Enrique Sierra Valenzuela.
Additionally, the ‘Adra KMCERO’ Healthy Gastro and Sports Festival is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, at Pago del Lugar from 20:00 to 23:30. Organized by the Adra City Council with support from the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption, and 2030 Agenda, the event focuses on promoting healthy living through physical activity and balanced nutrition. The program includes sports sessions such as pilates, zumba, functional circuits, and cross-hit, alongside a gastronomic area featuring food trucks, live showcooking, and a nutrition talk.
