Adrano police identify 20-year-old in attempted garage burglary

Police in Adrano have identified a 20-year-old man following an attempted garage burglary. The incident began when officers responded to reports of a damaged garage shutter. Upon arrival, three youths fled the scene on foot.

During the pursuit, one individual dropped a jacket, which allowed officers to intercept and detain him. Subsequent analysis of local surveillance footage confirmed his identity, showing him attempting to force the garage shutter while wearing a Brazilian national football team jersey—the same shirt he was wearing when apprehended.

The man has been reported to the judicial authorities for attempted theft in conspiracy. Investigations are ongoing to identify the two accomplices who fled the scene.
