ADRES simplifies earthquake indemnity requirements

The Administrator of Resources for the General Social Security System in Health (ADRES) has announced a temporary reduction in requirements for claiming death and funeral expense indemnities following the earthquake on August 10, 2026.

The new measure reduces the number of required documents from twelve to five, representing a 58.3% decrease. To facilitate the process, ADRES will perform direct verifications with public entities, including the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD), the National Civil Registry, and Medicina Legal, rather than requiring families to provide all documentation themselves.

Beneficiaries can manage claims directly through an online form without the need for lawyers or intermediaries. ADRES also stated it will provide guidance to families to assist with the application and document validation process.
